Where does the data come from?

Live station readings, the forecast bulletin, the sea forecast and warnings come from the Cyprus Department of Meteorology (warnings through MeteoAlarm). The hourly and 10-day forecast comes from Apple Weather. Air quality comes from the Department of Labour Inspection.

Why does the big temperature differ from the forecast?

When an official station is close to you, the app shows what it is measuring right now. The forecast is a model for your exact spot, so the two can differ by a degree or two, especially near the coast or in the mountains.

How do I get warning notifications?

Allow notifications when asked, or turn them on in Settings › Alerts inside the app. You can also set your own limits for heat, wind, rain, dust and snow.

Can I use it outside Cyprus?

The app is made for Cyprus. Outside the island it shows your saved Cyprus places — handy for planning a trip.

How do I change the language?

Cyprus Weather follows your iPhone's language. To choose a different one just for this app, open iOS Settings › Apps › Cyprus Weather › Language.
